They grow upright and the pseudobulbs on these orchids are not fat nor rounded but similar to cylindrical canes that grow quite large.Their smaller rubbery leaves are around 3 to 6 inches long. Dendrobium orchids grow in everything from warm, humid forests, river valleys, dry deserts, and cool, high-altitude mountainsides, such as in the Himalayas so they are extremely easy to grow and flower in the home or office, as long as some care is taken to provide them with conditions that approximate their native habitats. DENDROBIUM ORCHID CARE

LIGHT : This beauty can be grown in indirect light or semi-shade.

PLANTING MEDIA : Phalaenopsis orchids can be planted in quite a wide variety of materials, including fir bark, sphagnum peat, tree fern, charcoal, sphagnum moss, perlite, coconut husk chips, diatomite, lightweight expanded clay (LECA) or any mixture of these materials.

WATERING : Require moderate watering and occasional misting.

FERTILIZER : Apply Island liquid nutrient fortnightly.

INSTRUCTIONS TO USE ISLAND LIQUID NUTRIENT 

Dissolve 1 capful of Island Liquid Nutrient to 1 liter of water and pour the diluted nutrient over the soil. Apply once every 2 weeks for healthy and luxuriant growth.
