Scientific Name : Ficus lyrata

Common Name : Fiddle-leaf Fig, Fiddle-leaf

Ficus lyrata has glossy dark green, leathery and large (45cm by 30cm) foliage. Yellowish veins prominent on upper surface and bulging below, obovate to lyrate (lyre-shaped) or pandurate (fiddle-shaped), often with wavy margins. It is a pupolar and less maintenance indoor plant. Proper drainage, adequate sunlight (direct but not harsh), and misting with water will help keep a fiddle-leaf fig bright green with its signature glossy finish.

PLANT CARE INSTRUCTIONS

LIGHT : Place the plant under shelter with as much light as possible without exposure to direct sunlight. 

WATERING : Pour water over the expanded clay aggregates until the red needle in the water-level indicator reaches the optimum mark (1/2). Only add water when the red needle in the indicator reaches the minimum mark (min). NEVER BEFORE.

FERTILIZER : Dissolve 1 capful of Island Liquid Nutrient to 1 liter of water and pour the diluted nutrient over the expanded clay aggregates. Apply every alternate watering of your hydrocuture plants.
